The Parent and Family Council was established to provide opportunities for parents and families to become actively engaged, informed members of the Mason community by serving as ambassadors for the university as well as prospective and current families. Members of this group meet once per semester and advise New Student and Family Programs on important issues facing Mason families.
Applications to join the Council are open and will close on Wednesday, December 2. Apply at masonfamily.gmu.edu/parent-and-family-council. Interviews will be held in December, and candidates will be notified in late December/early January. If you want to learn more, the Peer Support Live Session on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. will double as a Council interest meeting.
