The UPS Store: Keeping in Step with Your Student’s Needs

UPS

At The UPS Store located on Mason’s Fairfax campus, we take great pleasure in helping your student attain what he or she needs to get the most out of the college experience. We offer longer hours than most UPS locations, staying open until 8 p.m. Monday – Thursday, until 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The conveniences, however, don’t stop with our hours.  We offer a variety of printing services ranging from simple copying and printing to producing booklets, bound presentations, posters, banners, and business cards.  Our finishing and binding services give any project or paper a professional look, and because we offer fast turn-around times with competitive pricing, your student will receive a high quality product at a reasonable price.  We also encourage students to email documents to store6272@theupsstore.com with printing instructions, and we’ll have it ready for pick up when they are available to visit the store.

As experts in shipping and packing, your student can ship with confidence. We will pack any item, including fragile or electronic items, and guarantee safe arrival on the date quoted.  You can also ship packages to our store for your student to pick up.  Likewise, students can have items ordered online shipped to our store.  There is a $5 pick-up fee for this service for anyone not holding a UPS mailbox at our location.  Our late store hours allow your student to pick up packages at his or her convenience.  If you would like to ship a package to us please call 703-865-5544 with your student’s name and phone number so we can contact him or her when the package arrives.

With the new semester starting later this month, we are starting to make plans for our Summer Storage Program.  Through this program your student will have the opportunity to store all of his or her belongings in a safe and secure place over the summer.  It is our hope that this service will provide convenience to students and families as they will be able to safely leave their belongings here on campus instead of hauling everything home for the summer and then back again in the fall.  Look for more information on this service in an upcoming Mason Family Flash.

Feel free to contact us with any questions by calling 703-865-5544 or visiting our location on the bottom floor of University Hall on the Fairfax campus.
