Whether you are new to the Mason Family, or a longtime member, we recognize the important role you play in your student’s success and want to provide ways to connect you to Mason and other Mason families.
Join the George Mason Family Association Facebook Group
This group was created to supplement the George Mason Family Programs Facebook page by providing a forum focused on family-to-family conversations. Parents and family members are invited to utilize the group as a source of celebration and support as we all strive to support our students and each other on this collegiate journey. Participate in Summer Send-Offs
These regional receptions are a great opportunity to meet other members of the Mason community from your local area and to hear from alumni and current students about their Mason experience. Summer Send-Offs are held in July and August in various cities across the nation for new Mason students and their families. Visit masonfamily.gmu.edu/summer for a list of all the dates, times, and locations.
Attend Family Events
Save the dates for the various family events happening throughout the year! Family Farewell, August 21, 2019, Family Weekend, November 8-10, 2019, and Sibs & Kids Weekend, April 18-19, 2020.
