New Student and Family Programs is excited to welcome new students and families into our Mason community during orientation this summer. Whether you are new to the Mason Family, or a longtime member, we recognize the important role you play in your student’s success and want to provide ways to keep you informed and connected to Mason and other Mason families.

You can also view our family calendar that includes important dates and deadlines.
If you are on Facebook, we encourage you to like and follow the George Mason Family Programs public page where you can find the most current information about upcoming events and university news.
We also have a closed Facebook group called George Mason Family Association that is focused on family-to-family conversations. Parents and family members are invited to utilize the group as a source of celebration and support as we all strive to support our students and each other on this collegiate journey. Engage with our programs
We invite your family to connect to Mason by engaging with our programs. Our family-centered events are great opportunities for you to connect as a family and explore the Mason community.
New and current Mason students and their families are welcome to participate in a Summer Mason Meet-Up to be held virtually in July and August. These events are a great opportunity to get to know other students and families in your region of the country and to learn more about the Mason experience before the fall semester begins. More information will be available on our website under the Events tab soon.
Dates and details for our Fall Family Weekend and inaugural Spring Family Fling (formerly Sibs & Kids Weekend) will be promoted soon, so stay tuned to our Facebook page and Mason Family Flash e-newsletter.
