Today is National Siblings Day! What better way to show your #MasonSibsKids18 some love than by registering for Sibs & Kids Weekend 2018? The deadline to register for Sibs & Kids Weekend is this Sunday, April 15 at 11:59 p.m. To register online and find additional information on Sibs & Kids Weekend, visit masonfamilyevents.gmu.edu.
Here are a few reasons your student and their guest(s) don’t want to miss out on Sibs & Kids Weekend:
- The Hunt: Does your Mason student and their guest(s) have a competitive spirit? If so, they should participate in The Hunt. Students and their guest(s) will race around campus taking photos to earn points, and the teams who earn the most points in the shortest amount of time will be eligible for a prize pack!
- Hub Takeover: There’s something for everyone at this fun-filled event! Sibs & Kids Weekend participants will takeover the Hub at a variety of events including a black-light laser maze (made of yarn), balloon badminton, canvas painting, arts and crafts, a video game tournament, and a NewlySibs competition to see which pairs of Mason students and #MasonSibsKids18 know each other best!
- Breakfast & Bingo: While Sibs & Kids Weekend is designed to provide Mason students and their guest(s) with an opportunity to connect and share life at Mason, we encourage the whole family to join us for breakfast on Sunday, April 22 from 10:30 a.m.-noon at Ike’s. Breakfast is free for Sibs & Kids Weekend participants and guests under the age of 10, and only $8 for family members. Bingo will also take place for a chance at winning some signature Mason spirit gear!
To join in on the fun, Mason students should register at masonfamilyevents.gmu.edu by 11:59 p.m. this Sunday, April 15. Please email email@example.com or call (703) 993-2475 with any questions about the weekend. Also, follow @MasonFamilyAssociation on Facebook, mark ‘Going’ on our Sibs & Kids Weekend Facebook event, and use the hashtag #MasonSibsKids18 for event updates.
We hope to see your Mason student and their guest(s) next weekend!
