We are only a few days away from Sibs & Kids Weekend 2018, and we can’t wait to welcome our Mason students, faculty, staff and their guest(s) to campus for a weekend full of fun, interactive events designed to highlight life at Mason!
All Sibs & Kids Weekend participants are required to have a Permission of Participation waiver on file before checking in this Saturday, April 21. Mason siblings and kids are not permitted to participate in the weekend’s activities without one. If older participants (13-18 years of age) are staying overnight in the residence hall with their Mason student, check the ‘yes’ radial button on the question that asks if the participant intends to stay overnight in the residence hall.
If the Mason student does not live on campus or if their guest(s) is younger than 13, they are not permitted to stay overnight on campus during Sibs & Kids Weekend. To arrange overnight accommodations, visit masonfamilyevents.gmu.edu/where-to-stay to book a room at a discounted rate.
There are a few items Sibs & Kids Weekend participants should pack. Participants should pack a swimsuit and towel if they plan to paddle board in Mason’s world-class pool in the Aquatic and Fitness Center. Also, if they are staying overnight in the residence hall, Mason siblings and kids should pack a sleeping bag, pillow, comfortable clothing, toiletries, medications, extra money for snacks if needed (e.g. at vending machines) and any other necessities for an overnight stay.

If your student and their guest(s) are interested in attending Sibs & Kids Weekend but did not register online by the Sunday, April 15 deadline, we invite you to stop by check-in at The Hub this Saturday, April 21 from 9:30 a.m.–noon to register and join in the on the fun! On-site registration fees may be paid by cash or check.
