Together, we are Mason on Giving Day

Thursday, April 4 is Mason’s third annual Giving Day. Giving Day is a 24-hour period where all Mason supporters – alumni, friends, volunteers, faculty, staff, and students – are encouraged to come together to make a difference by supporting one of Mason’s many causes.

As parents and family members, you can play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience on Giving Day by making a gift to the Parents Fund.

The Parents Fund was established in 2014 to enhance the student experience at Mason. Thanks to the generosity of over 5,700 donors, we have raised $234,000 to date. From scholarship opportunities to initiatives that provide direct support to students in need, the Parents Fund has supported initiatives like the Patriot Pantry, Unpaid Internship Scholarship and Gowns for Grad program, to name a few.

Our goal on Giving Day is to have 100 individuals make a gift to the Parents Fund. The Parent and Family Council has agreed to make a $2,000 gift to the Parents Fund if we reach our goal. Maximize the impact of your gift, no matter the size, and help us reach our goal of 100 donors!

You can show your support early by making your gift now, or on April 4, to the Parents Fund!

Gifts from parents and families demonstrate involvement, passion and confidence in Mason, and strengthen our University community in ways that would not be possible without philanthropy. I hope you will join me on April 4 and #GivetoMason!

Let’s show the world that together, we are Mason!
