UPS Services on Campus

WP UPS

At the UPS store, we are excited to begin our third year on campus and want to let you know about some of the services we offer to students. We are conveniently located in Merten Hall, in between Manhattan Pizza and Einstein Bros Bagels.

As experts in packing and shipping, we also offer a wide variety of other services, including notary, passport photos, fax sending/receiving, mailbox services, and a host of printing and binding services.

We know that your student will be printing papers and projects frequently. If they bring a flash drive with their project to our store, we can provide professional printing and binding. We can also print banners, photos, booklets, fliers, and many other items, all in a timely manner at reasonable prices.

With our Pack and Ship Guarantee, your student can ship both domestically and internationally. Although rates vary based on size, weight, and distance, we are happy to give estimates over the phone or via email.

Want to send your student a care package or the favorite t-shirt they left at home after visiting? You can ship items to our store and we will call your student when it arrives. Simply include your student’s name and phone number on the label and call us to let us know to look for it. There is a $5 charge for this service.

Feel free to call us at 703-865-5544 or email us at store6272@theupsstore.com with any questions about our services.

Get Involved: Apply to Join the Parent and Family Council!

WP Family Council 1

Are you interested in getting involved at Mason by serving as an ambassador to current and prospective families? If so, consider joining Parent and Family Council and become actively engaged in the Mason community.

The Parent and Family Council was established by Orientation and Family Programs and Services as a way to enhance the communication between the University and families, to create awareness of the need for familial input and involvement at Mason, and to foster an opportunity for families to become engaged and informed members of the University community.

The Council will meet two times a year to learn more about Mason, plan programs and events to involve parents and families in the life of the University, and contribute knowledge of the student experience to help inform practices at Mason. There will also be a variety of volunteer events throughout the year that Council members will be encouraged to attend as a way to further connect to families of Mason students.

We currently have four openings on the Council and will be accepting applications until November 1, 2014. For more information on the expectations of Council members as well as the application process, please click here. If you are attending Family Weekend we will also be hosting an information session on October 18 at 11 am for those interested.

Don’t hesitate to contact Orientation and Family Programs and Services at families@gmu.edu or 703.993.2475 with any questions.
