We hope that you and your family had an easy, exciting and memorable move-in experience here at Mason. While there was so much build-up and preparation for this day, it may be a tough transition to return home without your student. That being said, the Mason Family Association is always here to help keep you informed, connected and involved in your student’s experience.
We are now looking forward to the next time we can invite all of our Mason families to campus again- Family Weekend! This series of events will commence in just a few short weeks on Friday, October 14 and last the entire weekend. We encourage families to register in advanced by purchasing a $5 Access Pass for each family member attending. The $5 Access Pass will grant entrance to over 30 events on the Family Weekend schedule, discounts at select on- and off-campus dining locations, free parking, a Family Weekend souvenir, and much more!
Throughout the weekend, we will also host special events requiring separate tickets to be purchased. These popular events include the Welcome Dinner, Mason Uncorked, area tours, the 5K run/walk and many more. It is strongly encouraged to purchase these tickets in advanced at masonfamilyevents.gmu.edu.
While sending your student away to school can be an emotional process, we hope you are looking forward to the experiences you will share with them at Family Weekend.
