This Saturday, February 14 is George Mason University’s annual Homecoming celebration. This year’s theme is “The Art of the Game” and encourages students, families, alumni, and community members to show their Mason spirit in a creative way!
The weekend’s basketball games kick-off on February 14 with the Mason women’s team playing Virginia Commonwealth University at noon, followed by the men’s game against Richmond at 4 p.m. In addition to the games, all students and families are invited to attend the annual Homecoming Block Party on Saturday from 1 – 3:30 p.m. between games in Lot K. There will be a family-friendly area with games, crafts, and face painting for our future Patriots.
There is still time to purchase your tickets to either game and to take part in the day’s festivities. Visit homecoming.gmu.edu/tickets-and-parking/ to purchase tickets for you and your family. Make sure to purchase your tickets today so you don’t miss out on the fun!
The games and block party are just a small portion of a week full of events for your Mason student. Encourage your student to show their Patriot Pride all week and check out the event schedule by visiting homecoming.gmu.edu/events/.
