Sodexo, Inc. and Starship Technologies have partnered to launch a robot food delivery service at George Mason’s Fairfax campus. There are 25 robots on campus roaming around delivering orders between 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Blaze Pizza, Second Stop, Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks through the Starship Deliveries app. Mason is the first college campus to use this technology.
There is a delivery fee for each order made using this service and your student can pay for their orders using a credit card, Mason Money, Bonus or Freedom Funds. Check out the video above and read more about the robot food delivery service.
